I was wondering if Howard was ever going to get around to taking Ford & Ben Thompson to court for the stolen estate stuff. I guess I had assumed that since there had been nothing reported about it that they made some sort of deal... You know like Howard not pressing charges in return for Ford & Ben to drop the claims on the Horizon's home. But then again why should anything be settled with them if 1) the home did rightfully belong to Anna and then 2) the items were taken illegally.
What I could never understand about the taken items was that if they were really taken to "look out for Anna" why was the stuff sold all over the place? Was he trying to help Anna or was he just trying to get a few minutes in the spotlight? What do you think?

E-mails Between Larry & Ford - My Two Cents
Well... there seems to be some mystery in the e-mail from Ford to Larry. That could be because Larry was now going against some deal previous set up between him and Larry or it could be that he is just making up rambling non-sense. We'll probably never know... but anywho...
It was wise for Larry to send the e-mails to Ford and Howard for the purposes of covering his own butt and stay out of it. It also clearly showed Ford that he had no intenet in getting involved in it. Howard is legally the executor of the estate and it is his responsbility to legally regain the stollen items. If he then gives the stuff to Dannielynn then so be it, but it must all go thru the appropriate channels first.

Howard K. Stern Goes After Ford Shelly & C. Ben Thompson
Howard K. Stern, acting on behalf of the Estate of Anna Nicole Smith (AKA Vickie Lynn Marshall) has filed suit against Ford Shelly and C. Ben Thompson along with several other unnamed individuals for the wrongful removal and use of personal belonging of Anna Nicole Smith.
The actions seeks “compensatory, equitable, and punitive relief arising from actions taken by” the above mentioned defendents.
Anna Nicole died on February 8, 2007, and within 24 hours, much of her personal property was stolen from her residence in the Bahamas, known as “Horizons”. For months after the tragic death, many of the DVD’s included in the belongings appeared worldwide on the news. Some of the more known items included the famous “clown video” and the “Christmas Video”. Ford Shelly publically appeared on national television admitting to taking these videos.
Some of the items had been turned into South Carolina authorities by Ford Shelly and C. Ben Thompson, but further investigation revealed that the hard drives of the devises had been copied and transferred.
According to Mr. Stern, at a later date Ford Shelly attempted to give some of the taken belongings to Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn’s father, and Larry Birkhead informed Shelly that he was not authorized to receive items on behalf of the Anna Nicole Estate. Among the items were personal paintings that Anna had made for Dannielynn.

Jones Bahamas article basically says Howard had no idea Daniel was using any drugs. This is bull because if Birkhead was aware of it then Howard definately was aware of it since he lived up Anna's butt.

This Nassau Gaurdian article talks about how Howard's testimony brought Virgie to tears has he describes the events that took place in the hospital room when Daniel died. It also talks of Howard denying claims made by Ford Shelly that Howard flushed pills down the toilet.

Anna Nicole Smith on Geraldo Tonight
On Geraldo tonight, Geraldo’s brother Graig stated that Ford Shelly and Ben Thompson will be testifying at the inquest into Daniel’s death. Geraldo said that he didn’t feel there was a real robust investigation going on.
Daniel Smith Inquest - Witnesses Not Available
According to prosecutor Neil Brathwaite from the Attorney General's office, the inquest had to be postponed this time because it was becoming increasingly difficult for witnesses to come to court.
"The remaining witnesses were not available - one of them, the toxicologist, was simply not available, so were some of the others [like] Larry Birkhead, Ford Shelly, G. Ben Thompson and Ray Martino form California and Doctor Kapoor," he explained.

Why Now?
As you all know I have been really upset about these pictures of Anna Nicole and her son that are being aired. When I saw the non-blurred picture on Lincoln Bain’s sight I completely lost my breath. I was shocked because I was completely not expecting it.
Since the airing of Geraldo this weekend, and then the distasteful posting of the non-blurred pictures on Lincoln Bain’s sight I have been haunted of the question why? Why would anyone feel the need to post these pictures?
A while back it was reported in the news that someone was trying to sell these pictures to the media for 200k. Now Ford Shelly has gone on Geraldo with these pictures. Does this show then that it was Ford Shelly who had the pictures and was trying to sell them?
On Saturday Ford Shelly was trying to make it seem as though he was upset by these photos and was going to turn them into the authorities. Why now? Why not before? If he was truly concerned about them wouldn’t he have turned them over then and why would he have been trying to sell them to the media?
Another thing that comes to mind is that this family has always claimed to have cared for Anna, if this were true then wouldn’t they be concerned for the mental well being of Anna’s daughter and the effects this will have on her when she has to see her mother holding her dead brother posted all over the internet?

Geraldo Rivera shocked the world tonight when he showed the picture of Anna Nicole Smith clutching her dead son Daniel Smith a short while after he died in the hospital room where she had just given birth to her baby girl, Dannielynn.
