Additional Charges Against Daniel Bark

Additional charges are expected to be filed against Daniel Bark, the 23 year old man charged in the hit and run of Alexis Cohen. He will eventually be charged with aggrivated manslaughter, death by auto and eluding police. It is believed that Daniel Bark was under the influence when this tragic event occured.

23 Year Old Arrested in Connection with the Death of Alexis Cohen

Police have arrested a 23 year old by the name of Daniel Bark in connection with the death of "American Idol" contestant Alexis Cohen.

Daniel Bark was arrested at 6 p.m. Sunday in Atlantic Highlands after an extensive investigation by the police. He was charged with causing Alexis Cohen's death by reckless driving and then leaving the scene of the collision.

He is being held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River New Jersey.

American Idol's Alexis Cohen Found Dead at 25!

Alexis Cohen, a former American Idol Contestant was found dead today on the streets in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Alexis became famous for her rebellious and quirky auditions with American Idol and is known for yelling "Take it Take Take it!"

Ms. Cohen was found outside at the corner of Bay Blvd. Dupont Avenue in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.Alexis Saturday around 4am when a driver noticed her and called 911.

An autopsy revealed chest and abdominal injuries and a head injury caused by a vehicle collision.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to call Investigator Carlos Trujillo-Tovar of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office at 732-929-2027 or Detective Steve Korman of the Seaside Heights Police at 732-973-1800.

One of the best death metal albums I have ever heard. In fact for many years, it was the best, until I got into the At The Gates. This 1992 killer is the only Entombed album not to feature Petrov, but the vocals are still awesome. Many awesome tunes; Living Dead, Sinners Bleed, Evilyn, Blessed Be and Crawl are some of the best death metal songs ever. This is their darkest album, filled with brutal vocals, really dark riffs, melancholic and otherworldly solos and several well-used samples. The only problem with this album is that it can become a bit too much sometimes; you have to be in the mood for this one. The sheer intensity of the vocals and the guitar sound are not for all days. Also sometimes the songwriting isn't as consistent and cohesive as on later releases. Which makes sense for a young band. But still an essential classic in the genre, no doubt. This, together with Wolverine Blues and the (even better in my opinion) Hollowman EP is the best Entombed stuff. Recommended, a death metal classic.
