According to TMZ Dr. Sandeep Kapoor didn't show up for court today and could therefore be arrested. The Anna Nicole drama never ends.

Breaking: Howard K. Stern Charged with 3 Felonies
It is being reported that Howard K. Stern has turned himself in to police tonight and being charged with 3 felonies. He is being charged with "prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict." The addict being Anna Nicole Smith of course.
Also being charged are the two doctors, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor (AKA Dr. Feel Good, and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich.

From TMZ....The California Medical Board got a warrant to search Dr. Sandeep Kapoor's Studio City office this morning. Informed law enforcement sources tell us they are looking for prescriptions Kapoor may have written for Howard K. Stern. We're told Medical Board officials want to know if Stern may have used Kapoor to score drugs for Anna -- something Stern has vehemently denied.

Daniel Smith Inquest - Witnesses Not Available
According to prosecutor Neil Brathwaite from the Attorney General's office, the inquest had to be postponed this time because it was becoming increasingly difficult for witnesses to come to court.
"The remaining witnesses were not available - one of them, the toxicologist, was simply not available, so were some of the others [like] Larry Birkhead, Ford Shelly, G. Ben Thompson and Ray Martino form California and Doctor Kapoor," he explained.

Dr. Kapoor has already announced he will not come to the Bahamas. Judging from past no shows for other court cases in the Bahamas it is doubtful that Ford Shelly or G. Ben Thompson will show. I would be shocked if they did. Ray Martino, the man that Daniel was staying with , has been very very quiet through this entire ordeal so who can say what will happen with him. Larry Birkhead will probably have to get permission from Howard to go.

Dr.Kapoor Refuses Request to Testify
Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Smith’s personal physician, has already told local police [in Bahamas] that he will not be coming to testify. Since he is out of the jurisdiction the court cannot compel him to attend the proceedings.
Last year, Dr. Kapoor provided Smith’s medical records to local law enforcement officers. Those records have been entered into evidence.

Will We Finally Find Out What Happened to Daniel Smith?
Hopefully we will find out soon what happened to Daniel Smith. The inquest is set (last I heard) to being on Tuesday, October 30. Will we finally find out how Daniel obtained methadone in the short time between leaving the Bahamas airport and arriving at the hospital where Anna Nicole had just given birth to his baby sister? Will we find out if it’s the same methadone sent just weeks before to a Bahamas post office box prescribed by Dr. Sandeep Kapoor? Will the nannies testify that they heard Anna yelling at Howard at the Horizon’s house that he killed Daniel? Or…. will Howard K. Stern request a postponement. I guess we will have to wait to find out.
Lincoln Bain Assists FBI in Anna Nicole Investigation
The Nassau Guardian is reporting that a video tape of Controversy TV that interviewed the Anna Nicole Smith nannies is now in the hands of the FBI and may have played a crucial role in the investigation into the two doctors (Eroshevich and Kapoor) who prescribed mediation to Anna Nicole Smith.

Lawyers for Eroshevich were in court today protesting that the warrant was too broad and wanted to reclaim some of there items. I am sure they did. Anyway - they are trying to say that these items were doctor - patient private. Somehow I don't think that will cut it.
Anyway - Dr. Kapoor couldn't make court today and will appear December 4th or the 5th - I can't remember. Seems like a long way off.

The Rumors Are True
Howard K. Stern was at the home of Dr. Khristine Erosovitch the the law enforcement officials arrive to search the home and serve the search warrant. Lin Wood reportedly give a written statement that hew as there because he had left his dogs there before he left for NY earlier on Friday.
The other Dr. that was served was Dr. Kapoor, the Dr. that was shown making out with Anna Nicole in a gay bar on video tape. Not much of a suprise there.
