Guess that's it from TMZ
OK... TMZ has failed to deliver the continuation of details from the inquest yesterday. Maybe they were just making stuff up to keep people coming back?
Daniel Smith Inquest Ruling - HUH???
OK... the jury is saying that the death has been ruled accidental.
TMZ is saying the following confusing statement "This verdict is huge because of what the jury didn't say -- that Howard K was responsible for the death."
They have not elaborated yet but I am sure that more is to come. Does this mean that the jury felt that Howard was responsible, but that it was accidental? I'm confused.

Jones Bahamas article basically says Howard had no idea Daniel was using any drugs. This is bull because if Birkhead was aware of it then Howard definately was aware of it since he lived up Anna's butt.

This Nassau Gaurdian article talks about how Howard's testimony brought Virgie to tears has he describes the events that took place in the hospital room when Daniel died. It also talks of Howard denying claims made by Ford Shelly that Howard flushed pills down the toilet.
Ruling to be Accidental Death
Greta had a woman on the phone last night who was a local Bahama's news person or something to that effect. Well anyway, the woman basically said that the general feeling inside the courtroom was that the Daniel's death was going to be ruled an accidental death. I kinda figured that.
More on the Inquest
According to Art Harris's site, Jack Harding will not be testifying at the Bahamas inquest, citing medical reasons. He also says that the nannies still have not been found. How can they not be found? Doesn't anyone think that is strange?
Birkhead Testified in the Bahamas
Wow ... I am suprised that Larry Birkhead showed up in the Bahamas to testify. I didn't think Howard was going to allow him to. Well it seems he was allowed to go but his memory regarding anything wrong that Howard did (like the previous reports) mysteriously left Birkheads head. Howard testifies tomorrow and then he will have his schedule free to sue lots of people.
The Inquest & Larry Birkhead
After the sad and suprising death of Anna Nicole, people from all over the world watched in amazement and disbelief as the people of her life sat in a court room for a week straight battling over where to bury her.
The whole world listened to Larry Birkhead testify that Howard K. Stern carried a duffle bag of drugs and was giving Anna Nicole drugs while she was in rehab. Now that Larry & Howard have exchanged the baby and some contracts it will be interesting to hear what his answers are to these questions that will be sure to come up at the inquest into the death of Daniel Smith.
Birkhead's testimony has already been rescheduled because he wan't feeling good, or at least that is what has been claimed. Will he show up in March? This is a question that many will be waiting to see. If he does show up it will be interesting to hear him answer these questions again.

The inquest is set to resume on March 17. Why do they have to wait two months? And... where are the nannies? Did they testify? Anyone know?

Birkhead Blows Off Bahamas
Larry Birkhead was too sick to show up at the Bahamas today to testify. Perhaps too much partying at the clubs?

Anna Nicole Smith on Geraldo Tonight
On Geraldo tonight, Geraldo’s brother Graig stated that Ford Shelly and Ben Thompson will be testifying at the inquest into Daniel’s death. Geraldo said that he didn’t feel there was a real robust investigation going on.
Dr.Kapoor Refuses Request to Testify
Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Smith’s personal physician, has already told local police [in Bahamas] that he will not be coming to testify. Since he is out of the jurisdiction the court cannot compel him to attend the proceedings.
Last year, Dr. Kapoor provided Smith’s medical records to local law enforcement officers. Those records have been entered into evidence.

There is a video of Howard K. Stern exiting the inquest. I haven't viewed it because I am not a member of the site but this is the description of what is on the video.
Synopsis: Howard K Stern, the late Anna Nicole Smith's controversial lawyer-turned-lover, gets emotional as he defends himself and attacks her mother Virgie Arthur outside Daniel Smith's inquest in the Bahamas. The bitter enemies were both in court with their lawyers as proceedings resumed after an adjourment from mid-November. Both groups are seen leaving the Coroner's Court in Nassau. Arthur's camp have in the past suggested the reason Stern has legal representation, as he is not related to Daniel, is because he is worried about damaging details that may emerge about him. When asked about this on the way out, Stern questions Arthur's presence and says he is an "interested party". When asked if he is worried about details that may emerge, he first ignores the question and continues to walk away, before turning around to say it is a "very emotional process for me? much more than Virgie because Daniel was actually in my life". He then adds "I'd appreciate it if you respect that". The video also shows Arthur's US attorney Neil McCabe talking about what will be happening in the inquest this week, saying he hopes the truth comes out and to find out whether or not Stern was involved in the death.

Daniel Smith Inquest - Day 5
You will have to wait 6 weeks to hear about day five of the inquest in the the death of Daniel Smith. You guessed it... court has been ajourned for six more weeks. If you ask me, it almost seems like the Bahamian court has made up its mind already and has absolutely no desire to find anything new.
Only one of eight drugs was prescribed to Daniel Smith
Raju: Only one of eight drugs was prescribed to Daniel Smith
By INDERIA SAUNDERS, Guardian Staff Reporter
Only one of eight drugs that an examiner found during an autopsy of Daniel Smith's body was actually prescribed for the 20-year-old at the time of his death, pathologist Govinda Raju told jury members yesterday.
Facing a courtroom of onlookers at Monday's resumed inquest into the death of the late Playboyplaymate Anna Nicole Smith's son, Raju said it was his belief that the lethal combination of drugs had been consumed anywhere from four to six hours before his death on September 10, 2006.
According to the pathologist, five of the drugs in Smith's system were prescribed medications and three were most likely given to Smith during the medical intervention to resuscitate him. He said the three most lethal drugs - Methadone, Lexapro and Zoloft - were at significantly high levels, even though only Lexapro was prescribed.
Raju further added that as a result, Smith's respiratory system collapsed and he had a cardiac arrest.
"All of these things happened because of the lethal combination of drugs," he stated clearly to the courtroom. And upon hearing these details, Virgie Arthur, Smith's maternal grandmother, started crying quietly to herself.
Additionally, he testified that a number of abrasions and puncture wounds were found on Smith's body on his left shoulder, right upper chest, back and his upper hip areas. But Raju said there were not any signs of violence to Smith's body.
He pointed out that Smith could have received many of the injuries during the medical staff's hasty attempts to revive him from his unconscious state.
Wayne Munroe, the attorney for Anna Nicole's estate, made a point during his cross examination in asking the pathologist whether the drugs were taken simultaneously or were taken over a period of time and left some traces behind. Raju said the only way to answer that would have been to monitor Smith's ability to carry out his daily activities.
Munroe also asked if the other medications found in Smith's system could have been used for his diagnosed depression or constant back pains, which Munroe claimed Smith had complained of a numerous times.
To which Raju answered: "Yes."
Carolyn Nairn, a patient in room 202 on the day of Smith's death, testified that she heard a lot of commotion coming from the room next door to her - Anna Nicole's room 201 - and a female crying and screaming, "My baby boy."
Smith died while visiting his mother and newborn sister in Doctors Hospital. The inquest will resume today at 10 a.m. [Tuesday December 11)
