"I was totally shocked he was taking pictures of a dead child laying in that bed," Thompson testified at the inquest into the death while being questioned by a lawyer for Anna Nicole's long-estranged mother, Virgie Arthur.
Stern said the photographs "might be worth some money one day," Thompson testified.

Really Freaked Out!!!!!
Alright I am really freaked out. I went on to Lincoln Bain's website and there in a giant display was the picture of Anna Nicole Smith with her dead son. Gross!!!! At least with Geraldo, he warned you it was coming so you had the option of turning the channel. Geraldo also blurred out the face. Lincoln Bain does not do that.... its right there BAM in your face... no warning... no blurr. That is not something that I wanted to see. I don't think it is anything anyone should see. That picture needs to be taken down IMMEDIATELY. I do not think that is something that Dannielynn needs to see one day. I do not think that is anything anyone should see. I am really freaked out!!!!
Geraldo Shocks the World with Pictures of Anna Nicole Smith's Dead Son
Geraldo Rivera shocked the world tonight when he showed the picture of Anna Nicole Smith clutching her dead son Daniel Smith a short while after he died in the hospital room where she had just given birth to her baby girl, Dannielynn. Howard K. Stern had shared with the world just days before on Larry King Live that he had taken the pictures at Anna Nicole’s request.
Tonight, Ford Shelly turned copies of this picture along with some video tapes of Anna Nicole Smith to Geraldo to share with the world. Ford Shelly gave a different account of how the gruesome picture came about though. Ford Shelly father, C. Ben Thompson, claimed that Howard K. Stern took the pictures stating that this would be worth money some day. C. Ben Thompson denied Mr. Sterns’s stating that Anna Nicole Smith never asked Howard to take the photos.
Ford Shelly said he planned on turning the tapes over to authorities so they can be used for an investigation into the death of Anna Nicole Smith.
What comes to my mind is why would they show this and why now? If Ford Shelly really believed this was something to be investigated why did he wait until now?

On Geraldo tonight Ben Thompson said that Howard told him to guard 3 bags in the room with his life. He says that one of the bags contained Anna Nicole’s drugs. Then Howard took pictures saying to Ben Thompson these will probably be worth a lot of money one day.

Howard K. Stern Admits to Taking Picture of Dead Daniel
In the live interview with Larry King, Howard K. Sterns admits to taking pictures of Daniel after he died. When asked why he would do such a thing he said that Anna asked him to because she didn't believe he was dead.
That doesn't make too much sense to me... I mean - imagine this.. a hysterical woman who just lost her son screaming, crying, saying she didn't believe her son was dead, then saying - wait take a picture of us.
Weird stuff.
