Aflac to Gilbert Gottfried: You're Fired!

Gilbert Gottfried was fired by Aflac insurance after making tasteless jokes at the expense of the victims in Japan.  Gilbert thought it would be funny to tweet "jokes" about the suffering of the Japanese families.  Immediately their was an uproar over his actions and within 24 hours in was announced that Gilbert has been given the ax.  What do you think?  Is it ok to joke about the suffering going on in Japan?  Do you agree with Gottfried getting the ax?
